Lauranna's modeling career started by a complete accident.
She entered a "Wet on the Net" contest for KSJO (a local radio station).
Lauranna's entry was quite popular. So popular, that her entry was eventually disqualified
from the contest. Apparently, a few people had set up auto voters for her entry into the
contest. Lauranna says she had no part in it, She swears!! A few months later, Lauranna
entered and won the "Miss Silicone Valley" contest for KSJO in September 2000.
